Articles of Faith

The Triune God

God exists in three eternal, coequal persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.

The Person of Christ

Undiminished deity and complete humanity are united and embodied forever in one sinless, virgin-born Person, the Lord Jesus Christ.

The Work of Christ

The death of Christ served as a perfect, God-satisfying substitutionary payment of the penalty for the sins of the world. His bodily resurrection from the dead guarantees the hope of eternal life for all who believe on Him.

Personal Salvation

We can be assured of God's forgiveness and deliverance from eternal separation from God as well as the sure hope of eternal life, only through personal trust in Jesus Christ and acceptance of God's free gift of eternal life.

Revelation

God revealed Himself and His will for mankind through the divinely inspired and inerrant writings known as the Holy Scriptures.

Authority

The Holy Scriptures are the sole and sufficient authority in all matters of faith and practice. Furthermore, a literal understanding of the author's words in their historical and grammatical context is the basis of interpretation to determine the meaning of any and all passages of scripture.
