Let's face it... in the Birmingham area, we are blessed with numerous churches that emphasize the Gospel and teach God's Word. Each church offers its own blend of distinctives that make it truly unique.

Love Is In The Air

From our beginning as a church plant, we have placed a high priority of preserving the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. At Chelsea Bible Church, you'll find instant friends and an environment of joy that is glorifying to our God.

Verse-by-Verse Preaching

The pulpit ministry at Chelsea Bible Church focuses on teaching verse-by-verse through entire books of the Bible. Expository preaching allows the believer to hear what God really has said, not what someone says about it. 

Team Leadership

No Pastor can effectively lead a church alone.  It's for this reason that God designed that multiple elders shepherd each local church (Acts 14:23). Elders are men who demonstrate spiritual maturity (1Tim. 3:1-7) as shepherds of the flock. Our Pastor functions as one of our Elders - with the primary ministry of preaching and teaching (1Tim. 3:17). CBC also has deacons who oversee the tangible needs of the church.

Blended Worship for all God's People

At CBC, we recognize the importance of the traditional hymns of the faith that proclaim the greatness of God and tie our minds to our roots.  At the same time, we also recognize the tremendous contribution that today's gifted songwriters have made to worship music. So, we strive each week to blend the best traditional hymns with the best contemporary choruses to create a worship service that is edifying to all God's People.

Teaching that Accurately Handles the Word of Truth

We live in a day of Biblical Illiteracy in which religious deception masquerades as Biblical truth. At CBC, our teachers do their homework. From children's Sunday School teachers to the Pulpit Ministry, it is our goal each week to accurately handle the Word of truth.
